“The love of money is the root of all evil”, that is the ultimate truth the Bible states.

Well, among the many reasons why a certain individual goes to casino is to gamble of course. And his main target is no other than to earn loads of green bills in his pocket. At first, he tells himself “I would just like to have fun. I will never be addicted to this stuff”. But, as time passes by, he will just see and caught himself embraced by the darkness; doing all the possible ways just to have money. He will steal. He will also lie of course just to get the object of his desire. Now, when the fate of a gambler ends, his addiction begins.

Gambling is likened to a heroin which runs through the veins and blood of a gambler. But the big question is,” Is there still hope left for them to eradicate their addiction?”

Here are some of the pieces of advice that must be followed:

1)If you have got money in your pocket, give it to a trusted individual. You must bear in mind that having contact with money is bad because it will be the stimulus that can trigger you more in your addiction.
2)Joining a support group is a good idea! Find someone who can sympathize and relate to your problem. He may be someone who had the same experience as you have. But, the important thing is to listen to that person’s advice. You must know that pieces of advice become void and worthless if they are not followed.
3)Surf the internet and type up the phrase “quit gambling”. By doing this, you will find there step by step procedures to follow on how to quit gambling the most efficient way possible. But again, they will still turn out to be worthless if you will not help yourself. Aside from that, why don’t you keep yourself busy? By staying busy, you will surely forget about gambling
4)Don’t ever dare to go to any casino or online poker room! This will have the chance to lure you again. Just remember that in everything, there should always have moderation.
5)This is the greatest advice. During your gambling addiction all you ever thought of was money thus, God has totally been crowded out of your heart. Is there a time when you were busy betting in the casino and playing your favorite game you ever thought of Him? The answer of course is “no”. So, this implies that gambling is one of the arts of the devil to mislead you from the truth of being a righteous person. It has also become the middle wall of separation between you and God which even caused you distress. When you are alone in your room, why don’t you pray with faith? Ask Him to help you out of your problem and to rescue you from the bondage of addiction. Just always remember that with Him nothing is impossible. By doing this, you will certainly feel like the younger son in the parable “The Prodigal Son”. Isn’t it great?

Always remember that people who desire to get wealthy fall into a trap and into many unwise and dangerous desires that push them into ruin and destruction. So, start a new life. Quitting gambling is the good way to defeat the caprice of the devil.
